Sales Development Representative

Pro-VIO provides strategic business consulting for small businesses with an emphasis on helping them earn non-dilutive capital through government contracts. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to build and maintain our government BD pipeline on behalf of our clients. The SDR will also support our internal sales team develop and foster relationships with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer relations, the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, and be familiar/quick study with government entities/contracts.  

Responsibilities

●Source new sales prospects and book appointments on behalf of Pro-VIO and our clients

●Reach out to leads captured and nurtured by the Lead Generation Team

●Provide feedback to Lead Generation Team regarding quality of sourced leads

●Clearly communicate our client’s value propositions to prospects and determine client fit

●Provide support to Account Executive team as needed

Requirements

●Highly organized; Able to think strategically and tactically

●Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions

●Able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure

●Self-starter capable of managing work-loads and schedules with minimal oversight

●Professional personality with excellent customer service skills

●Adaptable to a highly dynamic workplace and schedules

●Work will be 100% remote

●Reliable access to a computer, webcam, internet connection and a reasonably dedicated workspace

●Comfortable with all remote work and video conferencing platforms

●Quickly learn and understand new concepts and technologies

●Part time 15-30 hrs/wk, strong likelihood to grow into full time

Desired Skills (Ideal candidates will exhibit one or more of the following skills)

●Familiar with government agencies and government contracting

●Background in proposal writing and contract management

●Experience working in a startup, with startups, or commercializing technology

●Sales/business development

●Project management

●Technical or scientific degree or background

●Veteran or military spouse
