Client Lead

Pro-VIO provides strategic business consulting for small businesses with an emphasis on helping them earn non-dilutive capital through government contracts. The client lead is responsible for developing the innovative strategy to help our clients win lucrative government contracts. Your role is to understand clients’ technical roadmap in order to shape and define the government opportunities that align with their technology goals. You will oversee the Pro-VIO team’s effort regarding the identification of opportunities, proposal submission, and contract management. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer relations, an ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, and be familiar with government entities/contracts.  

Responsibilities

●Rapidly learn clients’ technology and business goals 

●Develop a government strategy that aligns with the clients goals 

●Attend regularly scheduled and pop-up meetings with clients

●Review identified opportunities and present them to clients

●Collaborate with the proposal team to ensure timely submission of proposals

●Conduct government BD efforts to gain support for contracts and proposals Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products

●Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms

Requirements

●Self-starter capable of managing work-loads and schedules with minimal oversight

●Professional personality with excellent customer service skills

●Adaptable to a highly dynamic workplace and schedules

●Work will be 100% remote

●Reliable access to a computer, webcam, internet connection and a reasonably dedicated workspace 

●Travel occasionally (less than 10% travel anticipated)

●Comfortable with all remote work and video conferencing platforms

●Quickly learn and understand new concepts and technologies

●Part time 15-30 hrs/wk, strong likelihood to grow into full time. 

Desired Skills (Ideal candidates will exhibit one or more of the following skills)

●Familiar with government agencies and government contracting

●Background in proposal writing and contract management

●Experience working in a startup, with startups or commercializing technology

●Sales/business development

●Project management

●Technical or scientific degree or background

●Veteran or military spouse
